in santa rosa, 4. 47 in fairfield with a pretty gusty wind there. concord 39. gilroy and los gatos in the low to mid-40s. this is the reason some of you are feeling warmer. we have northerly winds and with those northerly winds the atmosphere is well mixed. that's allowing for temperatures to stay up, especially at the airport. the north wind at 22 miles an hour. we are looking at lighter north winds around the bay. but with a warmer start and a warmer atmosphere we will allow for temperatures to see a rebound today. more 60s around the bay. so sunny skies. it will be warmer. dry and mild for the rest of the week. it looks like march coming in like a lamb. and the next possibility of rain may be looking into the next weekend. so we will see a couple of systems drop our temperatures from day-to-day, but overall high pressure as it gets closer to the coast is going to allow for the warmup today. a couple weak systems every other day will flatten the ridge, then it rebuilds. that will being the pa earn right on through the rest of the week until thursday and friday. then the numbers r

is 43 and gilroy is 33. santa rosa is 34 and napa is 36 and north bay at petaluma is 32. sausalito is 42 degrees. the highs today are close to yesterday, maybe a touch cooler. a lot of the mid-to-upper 60's down in the south bay and santa clara valley at 67 in san jose. in the peninsula, we drop to 61 in millbrae and half moon bay is the warm spot. daly city in the upper 50's and near 60 downtown in south san francisco. north bay, mid-to-upper 60's in your valley but notice the benches, upper 50's and headed to the east bay shore, oakland, 65 degrees with berkeley, richmond, and everyone else is 64. temperatures in the mid-to-upper 60's with livermore at 68. tonight, the temperatures have more cloud cover and we are in the upper 30's to low 40's and in the low-to-upper 40's around the bay and to the coast. thursday we have more cloud cover but that is the warm air coming in and you can see friday is still the warmest day with let to mid 70's away from the coast and sprinkles are possible in the north bay on saturday night and sunday with snow showers at the same time in the sierra. have

, 39 areas around concord. these are some of the cooler spots but areas like santa rosa still warmer with the high clouds overhead. where the high died clouds are coming from. we have a weak disturbance that will continue north and east. for the afternoon partly cloudy, mostly sunny as the system move out of the way. a second system here going to also brush just the northern edge of california. the two combined will equal a minor cooldown and a return to the on shore flow that will happen later this afternoon. partly cloudy this morning, temperatures in the upper 30s to low to mid40s. a few low 40s as well as along the coastline. the on shore breeze will come back. that will lead to the low clouds, perhaps as early as tomorrow morning. temperatures today a few degrees cooler than yesterday and most cases, near the coastline with the on shore breeze we could see about five to ten degrees drop from yesterday afternoon. take a look here you can see the clouds moving through, probably about noontime, one, beginning to clear out and for your afternoon mostly sunny to partly cloudy, we do
. right now, we have 50s out towards santa rosa. 56 san jose. and there's that 53 showing up in downtown san francisco. also, the winds still a bit breezy out there. sustained wind speeds, 14 miles an hour towards santa rosa, half moon bay at 21 miles an hour. and fairfield, north wind at 15, gusting to around 23 miles an hour. tonight, clear and windy. the winds will gradually back ovulate tonight into early tomorrow morning. a cold start for your sunday, but more sunshine into the afternoon hours. and the extended, we're back to a dry weather pattern. we had a few sprinkles very early this morning, but really not a big deal and clouds cleared out rapidly. lower 30s toward santa rosa and napa for low tonight. san jose, upper 30s, at 39. this weather system moving to the east of the bay area produced the clouds, even a few sprinkles early this morning. so today, coolest day of the weekend, as the system moves out to the east, high pressure rebuilding. storm track heads up to our north and we have another dry weather streak to talk about tomorrow, right on through the end of the month and
out. it will continue to warm up. we had 70 in santa rosa. it was all about the south bay with some of the warmest weather today probably even got away with wearing the shorts. look at this, 74 in santa teresa. 75 in gilroy and temperatures are dropping off right now but nothing too unusual at least for this time of the year. what we are noting is this plume of moisture in washington and also oregon. this is producing some rainfall very close here to the bay area, mainly extreme northern california. this will mainly mean tonight an increase in cloud cover. let's show that you in our hd sky camera network. looks stormy but once again we're expecting dry weather there in the mid to lower levels for the peninsula, also the south bay, and then right up on into emeryville you can see the cloud cover that's continuing across downtown. so let's get you into the forecast as we head throughout thursday. we'll start off with temperatures in the upper 30s inland, 40s at the coast. some areas of fog and the low cloud cover. then by the afternoon hours, a lot of sunshine again and temperatures i

over san francisco's skyline. check out santa rosa. oakland, 51 right now. san francisco, 51 as well. temperatures of course will continue to fall overnight. and so will the winds. the winds will gradually die down. we could see some gusts as much as 25 miles per hour, at least in the hills, but for the most part, the wind gusts will die down, and that will bring us warmer weather by tomorrow. no rain in sight for the next seven days. plenty of sunshine for tomorrow. it should be a pretty nice day. temperatures will be slightly warmer tomorrow than what we saw today, by a degree or two, and it's because of this ridge of high pressure. it's continuing to build. keeping us high and dry for the next several days, definitely for tomorrow. our futurecast tracks no rain for the next 24 hours. our next shot at rain really looks like it's going to be next sunday. we could see a change in the weather pattern, but it's a little too far out to know for sure. these temperatures are going to dip overnight tonight, in the mid 30's to 40's. 3
after 2014? i do not understand that. in fact, i have introduced with rosa delauro h.r. 125, the congressional oversight of afghanistan agreement act of 2013, which is a bipartisan bill introduced by us and we are reaching out to our other colleagues to say, congress, let's get on the floor, let's debate whether we should stay there 10 years after 2014 or not. mr. speaker, i sincerely believe that the american people would back this legislation because the american people have seen the total chaos right here this week, last week and the next couple weeks to come talking about sequestration. but i don't think the leader of afghanistan is worried about sequestration because we're going to send him all the money that he wants while we tell the american people we're going to cut your jobs, we're going to cut your programs. that to me is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. mr. speaker, it is time for the american people to say to congress, let's start rebuilding america and stop rebuilding the rest of the world. mr. speaker, beside me is a poster of young army officer who los

, such as the napa valley, santa rosa, san francisco overnight, 45. we'll look at the fog together right near the coast. 38 for half moon bay. 41 for san jose and 37 for livermore. this is the setup. this high has just been sitting over the pacific northwest. the jet stream well to the north of us. but things are going to start to change mid-week. this high will stay positioned right over us. so the dry weather pattern will stay with us through wednesday, and then after that, a pretty vigorous cold front developing to the north and west of us and bring us a colder air mass, and does look like rain on thursday. here's a look at our timing for the low clouds. by 5:00 a.m. monday, you'll notice the low clouds pushing in. also out towards the delta. doesn't stay us too terribly long. you can see by 11:00, 12:00, 1:00, 2:00, plenty of sunshine. so here's your highs, 60s. 58 for san francisco. in east bay, antioch, concord, walnut tarik, danville, oakley. mid-to-low 60s. 62 for san jose. and manage mid-60s hearding towards morgan hill. 64 for gilroy and 63 for salinas. here's a look ahead to the se
rosa, napa. 39 it daly city. 38 in pleasanton is going to be very cold. and for the what we expect our clearing skies. and the wind is going to reduce with areas of fog and visibility not quite that bad. however, there could be areas of the patchy, local tense fog for the in the valleys. we will see mostly clear skies. temperatures a bit warmer toward about 10 degrees warmer and we will continue with this similar pattern of a cold morning with cool and mild for the rest of the work week. and take a look at the number of cold places. only 29 degrees. and in napa. oakland. 30's through redwood city, pleasanton. and 30's for places like fremont, san jose. definitely, bundle up. and you might want to give yourself some extra. giving yourselves of time. through the delta, and the bay shore the south bay. all 50s. close to the coast publicly to lower 50s. as for the sierras? some ongoing snowfall expected the same through accumulations' out there today. it does not look like we will see but for the rest of the week. a look at your extended forecast. cold. mild that will be the same pattern f
